  • Wilkadene Woolshed Brewery

    Located inside an old sheep shearing shed on the historic Wilkadene Station, the Woolshed Brewery offers handmade premium boutique beer and cider in a unique setting. Accessible by car and water a great place to tie up your houseboat and spend some time tasting the range on the sun drenched deck as you take in the sights and sounds of Australia’s greatest waterway.

    The Woolshed offer local Produce Picnic packs which have an array of delicious Riverland goods including olives, chutneys and metwurst. You can also take your lunch out and enjoy on the deck with one of their famous 'Ales', hard lemonades, ciders or simple enjoy the view of the Murray River.

  • Twenty Third Street Distillery

    Twenty Third Street Distillery is the new incarnation of a century-old landmark at Twenty Third Street, Renmark. The distillery has century-old copper stills, brought from cobwebbed disuse back to burnished glory. A guided tour and tasting will open your mind and your senses to new dimensions.
    Gin, brandys, whisky and vodka can all be found at the distillery with tours and tastings 7 days a week.
    Tours are performed at 11am, 1pm and 2pm, children under 18 free.

    919 Wines is a small family company, specializing in the production of high quality table wines. We are based in Glossop, South Australia, approximately 3 hours from Adelaide. The company was founded in 1999, with the first vineyard established in 2002, and the first vintage in 2004.

    Since then, the winery has expanded to handle a crush of 60 tonnes of fruit, grown on vineyards under our direct management or from growers who can meet our stringent viticultural and production standards. We purchased a second vineyard in 2011 to assure supply and to provide for the continued growth of the company.

    Our vineyards and wines are certified organic, in keeping with our philosophy of living sustainably within the environment.

  • Loxton Historic Village

    Step back in time: to an era before TV, air conditioners and computers, when bread was baked at home in a wood-fuelled oven, milk came directly from cows to the table and when horses pulled ploughs to cultivate the land.

    The Village, historic Loxton tells the stories of the region's early settlers and their families, displayed in over 45 recreated buildings and exhibits on the banks of the mighty Murray River. All buildings and displays have been relocated or built on site, with most replicating original constructions from Loxton's pioneering years.

    Ruston's Rose Garden - Stop and Smell the Roses

    Ruston's Roses has one of the biggest, most diverse and important collections of Roses in the world and in 2005 was named as home of the National Rose Collection of Australia. Originally a fruit orchard, the property has morphed into a beautiful garden and function centre. 

    After your stroll through the gardens, enjoy lunch in the cafe which has a range of homemade cakes and at night becomes a fantastic Thai restaurant and cocktail bar.

  • Cobdogla Irrigation & Steam Museum

    Enjoy the HISTORY and RIDES!

    Located at Cobdogla in the Riverland of South Australia, the Irrigation & Steam Museum is a popular place for steam engine enthusiasts as well as being a fun and educational experience for children and their families.

    The Museum has special operating days with working exhibits and train rides.

    A special feature at the museum is the WORLD'S only Humphrey Pump in working order, although following an OH&S incident, the pump is currently not being operated.

  • Olivewood Historic Homestead

    A 1880s wooden-floored log cabin house originally designed for the Chaffey brothers.

    Historic Olivewood Estate Homestead, the original home of Canadian Charles Chaffey, who with his brothers George and William established the Renmark and Mildura Irrigation Colonies.

    This State Heritage listed home was built from Murray pine logs using the drop slot system in 1889, it is set in spacious grounds, with a spectacular palm lined drive. The homestead now displays items of the period, plus more.

    In the Charles Chaffey Centre, there are displays of working printing machines, photographic equipment, a 1926 Garford fire engine and much more.

    Throughout the complex, there are photographs, river charts and the Chaffey Red Book – used to attract investors to the new settlements.

    A replica of the olive crusher can be seen beside the original olive oil processing building, now housing varied historical items. The packing shed c1890 contains a collection of equipment which was used in the past fruit industry.

    Tractors and other implements, some restored are throughout the complex. There is an orange orchard, and an operating olive grove with approximately 90 trees that were planted in 1890.

    Sales of olive oil, other souvenirs and books are available. Tours, Lunch, Morning and Afternoon Teas by arrangement. Tea or Coffee is available.

    The Renmark Club offers four exclusive dining areas, and can cater for up to 710 guests, providing a wide range of catering, from casual Bistro to formal restaurant for dinner parties. Diners may relax inside or on the outdoor decking, enjoying a coffee and cake or their favourite drink.
